Etude

This piece explores the space between unity and dissonance through a gradual pulling apart and transformation of a constant pedal point on the pitch-class F. This pitch class gradually becomes more polluted through the addition of F's which are either out of tune with the equally tempered F and one another, or whose timbre makes them perceptually different from one another.
